If the previous night was full of train noise, this past night was even more so, given the trains had to whistle both street crossings. Plus the 6:08 am emergency horn blowing in town didn't help. Not sure what it was about. Back to the trail.

Breakfast at Husky Haven Campground |
Twenty miles got us to the Eastern Continental Divide. Although not a steep assent, it was constant pedaling, no coasting. However, on the other side, euphoria! Twenty five miles of a 1.5% decline into Cumberland, MD., along scenic vistas, through tunnels, over bridges, across the Mason Dixon line. Past Cumberland, it was a mud bath. More on that when we get more band width.
